Day 29 of 30 Day Photo Challenge
INVICTUS

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

Day 24 of 30 Day Photo Challenge
In April I took a road trip with my Mom and my Aunt Laura from Salt Lake City Utah to Seattle Washington. On the way to Seattle we visited my Aunt's friends who own an organic farm in Washington near Tacoma. We had a lot of fun seeing the land and their animals. It was awesome to get to know my Aunt's friends who live what they believe, in hopes that others may also benefit.
This is their duck, Donald.

Day 21 of 30 Day Photo Challenge
Last month I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC and saw the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Exhibit. This exhibit was so fascinating that I was inspired... In the catalog they used models to display the fashion designs of McQueen, the unique aspect was that the models were made to look like mannequins mostly without heads or wearing masks.

Day 3 of 30 Day Photo Challenge
As far back as I can remember I have loved the art work of Georgia O'Keeffe, who is known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, cow skulls and American landscapes. She has a painting titled "Sky Above the Clouds", and couple weeks ago while I was flying from New York City to Los Angeles I saw out the window the same clouds illustrated in O'keeffe's painting.
So naturally I had to take a picture.
